Why MADE IN AMERICA Matters

Posted on February 13 2018

When you look at the tag on most clothing these days, it will likely say "Made in India" or "Made in China" and a handful of other garment industry heavyweights in Asia. We at YOUnity do not believe that is inherently bad, that industry employs millions of people overseas, but we see a golden opportunity to start selling American made clothing and accessories, to support jobs here at home and help the industry grow as more and more people are putting locally made and MADE IN THE USA at the top of their priority list when making a purchase.

Some might ask "Well why would you buy a shirt that is made in America that costs more if one that's made in China is just as good quality wise, but costs less?"

Our answer is simple: American made helps us achieve the American Dream, it proves that hard work truly pays off and that we as a nation can and will rise to the occasion.

America has always been strong. We have been industrial innovators, pioneers in technology, and trailblazers in enterprise and services. Manufacturing is coming back to America, and that will benefit everyone, and will only strengthen our competitive edge and the variety of products we produce here at home.

At the end of the day, buying American made isn't all that much more expensive than buying products made elsewhere, and as the industry grows these products will become more affordable. At YOUnity, we are always introducing new MADE IN THE USA products to give our customers the best options available. We couldn't do it without YOU. Our incredible customers, civilian, veteran, active duty. All of YOU, make this company great, because you help us grow; not just in the sense of profit and sales, but the meaning, the movement. Raising awareness for PTSD, hunger, poverty and many other issues our country faces, and together YOUnity can become more than just a company, it can become a force of good, for as many people as possible, which wouldn't be possible without all of YOU. THANK YOU!
